CASA SÃO MIGUEL IS A SHOP AND CAFETERIA INSPIRED IN THE FIRST DECADES OF THE 20th CENTURY, WHICH OPENED ITS DOORS ON APRIL 1, 2020.

Casa São Miguel is the model of a family business that develops a project aimed at recovering the gustatory memory of Portugal by offering in its store in Lisbon, a true compliment to Portuguese culture through its pastries.

We started its project with its own recipe of “Pastéis de Nata” and some other classic pastry, having quickly added some traditional Portuguese sweets, such as; Almond, Locust Bean and Bean Tarts, which are part of the “Pastéis com História” Collection and also the now famous “Pastel Bordallo”, all made by pastry Chef Luis Jacó from Caldas da Rainha.

In addition to the pastries, we also made sure we assured quality in our take away Portuguese products offer, namely our Portuguese coffees, teas, jams, chocolates, liqueurs, wine and cheeses.

We also propose offering to any interested customers an exclusive set of ceramics; Ceramic pastry, and some replicas of dishes in Majolica and Pallisy techniques from that period of time that inspired us.

Casa São Miguel offers a unique experience, thanks to its carefully decorated "Art Nouveau and Art Deco" style and also by the fact that the cafeteria service uses pottery and porcelain from Portuguese factories of the time, that belong to the owner's private collection.
